A long-distance move, to another city or another province, is not priced by the hour. You get one written flat quote for the whole job, built from what you are moving, the access at both addresses and your dates.
Start with the office in the city you are moving from. The office that receives your request prepares the quote, so one request to one office is enough, including when the other end of the move has its own Men In Trucks office.

Which Men In Trucks office should I contact?

Do you move between cities and provinces?
Yes. A long-distance move, including a move from one province to another, gets one written flat quote for the whole job. The office that receives your request prepares the quote, so you only need to contact one office, normally the one in the city you are moving from.
Are prices the same in every city?
Yes. Every Men In Trucks office uses the same published hourly rates for local moves on a standard date: $150/hr for 2 movers and a truck, $195/hr for 3 movers, $245/hr for 4 movers and $325/hr for 5 movers with two trucks, plus applicable taxes. Taxes vary by province. Minimum hours and a 1-hour travel charge apply inside each city, and rates can be higher on busy dates, so check the rate for your date when you book. Long-distance moves are not priced by the hour: each one gets a written quote.
Which languages do your offices work in?
All eight offices serve customers in English. Our Montréal office offers full service in English and French, with a French page and a French booking form. Both are linked from the Montréal listing.
Which time zone are move times given in?
Each office uses its own local time: Atlantic Time for Halifax; Eastern Time for Ottawa, Toronto and Montréal; Central Time for Winnipeg; Mountain Time for Calgary and Edmonton; and Pacific Time for Vancouver. Move dates and arrival windows are given in the local time of the office you book with.
