How booking works
- Send your booking request. Use the form below for your move, crew and date, access at both addresses and your contact details. Sending it does not book the move or charge you anything.
- We confirm availability. Our Halifax team reviews your details and contacts you by phone or email to confirm the date, the arrival window and the crew, plus anything priced separately, such as packing or a piano.
- We send your $105 deposit link. Once availability is confirmed, you get a payment link for the $105 deposit.
- You are booked. Your move is confirmed once the deposit is paid.
Start your booking request below: your move, then crew and date, move details, and finally contact and review.
Long-distance move, or a destination outside the areas in the form? Choose Long-distance in the form, or choose “A written quote first”, and your request becomes a written flat quote request.
We use your details only to plan your move and contact you about it. See our Privacy Policy.

What the online price covers
The price in the booking form covers the crew, the truck and the time, before applicable taxes. Which model applies depends on where your move starts and ends:
- Within the Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville and other HRM communities listed in the form): hourly, from $150/hr for 2 movers and a truck to $325/hr for 5 movers with 2 trucks. The minimum is 3 hours (4 hours for 4 or 5 movers), plus 1 hour of travel at the rate for your date, so the form shows minimum hours × the rate for your date, plus that hour.
- Surrounding communities listed in the form (for example Elmsdale, Lantz, Windsor and Chester), when the other address is in the HRM or in any of these communities, including the same one: a flat price for the first 3 hours, from $750 with 2 movers and a truck, then the hourly rate for your date. For 4 or 5 movers, the fourth hour is billed at the hourly rate for your date.
Busy dates. Rates can be higher on busy dates (Friday to Sunday, May to September and around month-end). The booking form shows the exact hourly rate for your date. The flat first 3 hours in surrounding communities stay the same on every date.
Time beyond the minimum is billed at the hourly rate for your date.

What is not booked online
These are not in the online price; our Halifax team confirms them with you before your move:
- Long-distance moves, elsewhere in Nova Scotia or to another province: one written flat quote per job, not an hourly price. Choose Long-distance in the form and tell us the city or town you are moving to.
- Pianos, safes, gym equipment and other heavy items: tick Piano, Safe or Gym equipment in the form, or choose Other heavy item and name it (for example a hot tub), and our Halifax team confirms how they will be moved and what they add.
- Packing and unpacking: choose none, partial or full in the form, and the team confirms it with you.
- Furniture disassembly and reassembly, and extra stops: tell us in the form, and we confirm them with you.
- Photos: the form does not take uploads. Describe large items in the special instructions, and reply to the confirmation email with photos if that helps.
Destinations outside the areas listed in the form get a written quote instead of an online price. Moving into the Halifax area from farther away? The form starts from a pickup address in the area, so call (902) 700-0617 or email [email protected] and we quote it. For an address in the Halifax Regional Municipality more than about 100 km by road from downtown Halifax, call (902) 700-0617 for a written quote instead.
Deposit, changes and cancellation
No payment is taken when you send the form. After our Halifax team confirms availability, we send you a payment link for the $105 deposit, and your move is booked once it is paid.
Deposits are refundable if you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your move; inside 48 hours a fee may apply. To change your date or cancel, call (902) 700-0617 or email [email protected] with your booking reference.
Halifax booking questions
Is my move booked as soon as I send the request?
No. Sending the form is a booking request. Our Halifax team reviews your details and confirms availability, then sends a payment link for the $105 deposit. Your move is booked once the deposit is paid, and no payment is taken on this page.
Can I cancel or change my moving date?
Yes. Deposits are refundable if you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your move; inside 48 hours a fee may apply. Call (902) 700-0617 or email [email protected] with your booking reference.
Why does the rate change with the date I pick?
The booking form applies our busy-date pricing to the hourly rate. Rates can be higher on busy dates (Friday to Sunday, May to September and around month-end). The booking form shows the exact hourly rate for your date. The flat first 3 hours in surrounding communities stay the same on every date; there, only time past the first 3 hours is billed at the rate for your date.
What if my move takes longer than the minimum?
Time beyond the minimum is billed at the hourly rate for your date, the same rate the form shows for your crew. Within the Halifax Regional Municipality the minimum is 3 hours for 2 or 3 movers and 4 hours for 4 or 5 movers, plus 1 hour of travel. In surrounding communities the flat price is for the first 3 hours, and 4- or 5-mover crews have a 4-hour minimum. How long a move takes depends on how much you move, the access at both addresses and how ready everything is.
What if I need packing, a piano moved or a long-distance move?
Choose your packing level and add any extra stop in the form, then tick Piano, Safe or Gym equipment, or choose Other heavy item and name it (for example a hot tub). These are not priced online, so our Halifax team confirms them with you before your move. Long-distance moves get one written flat quote: choose Long-distance in the form and tell us the city or town you are moving to.
What time zone are the arrival windows in?
Arrival windows are in Atlantic Time, the local time in Halifax.
Prefer a written quote first?
Ask for a written quote instead of booking online, or call to talk it through. When the price suits you, you can send your booking request.
